After a weekend with shows in Chatuba & Nova Brasilia, two wellknown Funk-Venues in the 'Penha', region in the zona north of Rio de Janeiro, I visited on monday again the Complexo do Alemão for the soccer with the Funk MC´s. I was invited by my great friend, MC Playboy, who is singing today with success for the CHILDREN IN THE FAVELA intelligent FUNK.
For sure with his biography MC PLAYBOY is today one of the TOP-PERSONALITY in the Rio-Baile-Funk-Scene.
I will offer you soon pictures from the soccergame, I was together with MC Alex & the dancers of Menores do Funk in one team. We´ve won two games against MC Playboys team and lost one game against the team of SMITH, the second game we won also against SMITH´s team.
After the game in the part Fazendinha of the Complexo do Alemão MC PLAYBOY invited all the the players to an improvisated Churrasco with soundsystem in the lower part of the Fazendinha. Everbody was drunken and happy about this great new soccer event for Funk MC´s.
SMITH cried with Brasilian slang names of German Soccerplayer, before MC PLAYBOY called out for me. He wanted, that I pesent in the COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO for the people of the COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO the song POR AMOR about the COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO - and I am an Alemão.
After the show, a young guy wanted, that I speak with his aunt in a corner close to the stage ... I think, she was more than 50 years old. She was there with other old women. They´ve seen me in the TV-show SABADACO with GILBERTO BARROS, and they´ve said, there were pride that I came to the COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO without fear. This women gave me in fact a good braininput.
I have to admit, that I consider MC PLAYBOY as a real friend of mine.
