While I´ve got the chance to travel to Argentina to bring the Funk to our neighbours, two of my best friends of Rio de Janeiros Baile Funk Scence played great shows in Europe. DJ Edgar & DJ Amazing Clay are making actually a lot of noise and are playing cities like Berlin, Zürich, Amsterdam, Warschau and my lovely hometown Stuttgart.

A lot of new input - six shows in six days, a trip to Cordoba and back to see Boca Juniors and play the next day with the fabolous 'La bomba de Tiempo' in Buenos Aires was a great experience

I think this was all for a big reason. Funk & Cumbia is a perfect connection and Brasil - Argentina - Culture-Fusion is an excellent way to present new tendences from Latin-America in one fusion ... Frikstailers, Chancha, ZZK, DJ Amazing Clay, MC Kico, Miss Bolivia MC Maiquinho & a lot of great artists more are in the fusion ...

Thanx to Marcelo to be a great host.

I´ve ever got big feelings for Argentina and it was a big emotion for me too have the chance to visit this country to show Brasilian music.

It´s important to have a lot of MC´s from different countries doing vacations like this and to rap in different languages.

I wanna show some pics from the trip and an unbelievable report from the ´89 Uefacup-Final "VFB Stuttgar - SSC Neapel", that I´ve joined live in Neckarstadion/Stuttgart.

I´ve got always big sympaties for Diego Maradona and his art to play football - he played often against my teams Stuttgart & Germany in important games in the World Soccer history - I´ve respected him always and he is really the expression of Argentina, you can feel this.

Fluminense played very good in the first semifinal of the Libertadores (our champions league) in buenos aires against boca juniors. 2:2 was the result !
The club is from our suburb 'Laranjeiras' ... today i´ve passed at the ticket service ... big cue !!! 80.000 people will be in Maracanã next week.
At the same time as Fluminense have been the semifinals of the Brasilian cup with two teams from Rio. They both lost in the penalties, Vasco da Gama against Sport from Recife, and Botafogo against Corinthians in São Paulo.

I´ve watched the game here in the bar in Pereira da Silva in Laranjeiras ... was an unforgetable soccernight in the deepest Brasil style !!!

After a weekend with shows in Chatuba & Nova Brasilia, two wellknown Funk-Venues in the 'Penha', region in the zona north of Rio de Janeiro, I visited on monday again the Complexo do Alemão for the soccer with the Funk MC´s. I was invited by my great friend, MC Playboy, who is singing today with success for the CHILDREN IN THE FAVELA intelligent FUNK.

For sure with his biography MC PLAYBOY is today one of the TOP-PERSONALITY in the Rio-Baile-Funk-Scene.

I will offer you soon pictures from the soccergame, I was together with MC Alex & the dancers of Menores do Funk in one team. We´ve won two games against MC Playboys team and lost one game against the team of SMITH, the second game we won also against SMITH´s team.

After the game in the part Fazendinha of the Complexo do Alemão MC PLAYBOY invited all the the players to an improvisated Churrasco with soundsystem in the lower part of the Fazendinha.

Everbody was drunken and happy about this great new soccer event for Funk MC´s.

SMITH cried with Brasilian slang names of German Soccerplayer, before MC PLAYBOY called out for me. He wanted, that I pesent in the COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO for the people of the COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO the song POR AMOR about the COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO - and I am an Alemão.

After the show, a young guy wanted, that I speak with his aunt in a corner close to the stage ... I think, she was more than 50 years old. She was there with other old women. They´ve seen me in the TV-show SABADACO with GILBERTO BARROS, and they´ve said, there were pride that I came to the COMPLEXO DO ALEMÃO without fear. This women gave me in fact a good braininput.

I have to admit, that I consider MC PLAYBOY as a real friend of mine.

The success of the dancing girl 'Andressa Soares' in Brasil is unbelievable. After her separation from the project 'Créu', the mastermind of this project is now afraid to loose any credibility without 'the watermelon woman'. She received the name 'Watermelon woman' in reason of her 'big bunda' (121 cm), she shaked in unbelievable velocity to the Baile Funk Blockbuster Créu.

For the Funk-MC´s started right after the carnaval a difficult period in Rio de Janeiro.
Actually at the bailes the DJ´s are playing 80% 'montagens' and are canceling more and more the MC´s to safe more money for themself. Montagens are songs without rap, where the producer is just taking some samples of voices (often not from MC) and is mixing this sample in a monoton way together with the monoton trumpet of the Marmon-sample.
The best example is the unbelievable success of the montagem 'Vai sentando' from DJ Dedé Mandrake. "This is the big blockbusterhit of the moment" says DJ Marrentinho, producer of acts like Koringa, Bonde da Oskley & Robinho da Prata . "Nobody knows, why. Every day in Rio there are dying people in reason of a senseless war. Everybody in Rio de Janeiro is affected of this war. We know, we are living in the most beautiful city of the world - nevertheless we can not always join our life in a relaxed way, especially not, if we are living in a favela.

I have another idea for your company. On the market Uruguiana in Rio de Janeiro you can buy DVD´s with gunshots in various favelas in Rio de Janeiro, filmed by the police. There is a lot of great blood and crazy violence on this DVD. Why you don´t copy this DVD´s and release them 'to portray another moment in time in Rio de Janeiro'.
Believe me, they will still get a lot of trouble with this compalation ... with topics like this the Brasilian government is not joking ...

If you wanna go theses days to a Baile Funk in Rio de Janeiro, please take care - actually there are a lot of police controls around the Bailes - not always easy!
Never go out of a Baile Funk with drugs, never!
A lot of Baile Funk Partys were canceled last week - Police has seized the soundsystem during the daytimes.
